The search continues for a 48 year-old Limassol fisherman, Anastasis Polydorou, missing off the east coast of Cyprus since last Monday (January 14) after leaving home to go fishing.
A police report has said that a seven-member crew police boat—including six divers—had by Sunday carried out searches along the coast between Zevgari and Gata capes. Searches are also continuing in other sea areas by both the authorities and divers using private boats.
Polydorou’s boat was found last Wednesday, 0.6 nautical miles off shore. Its engine was on but Polydorou was nowhere to be found
