Αccording to the latest met office prediction, temperatures will beging dropping as of tomorrow, with the possibility of a sub-10 degree temperature on Wednesday and Thursday.
Showers are expected throughout the day, but conditions will gradually improve this afternoon. Showers will continue tomorrow, with snowfalls expected in mountainous and semi-mountainous regions.
Wednesday is expected to be the coldest day of the week, with light snowfalls over the plains as well.
Snowfalls continue over the Troodos mountains and police has advised drivers that access to the area is possible only for four wheel drive vehicles or cars with snow chains.
The depth of snow on Mount Olympus is 20 centimeters with 10 in Troodos square.
