Three people were arrested, and 16 computers and over 1,000 euros seized, during a police raid in Livadhia in the Larnaca district late on Wednesday.
The three people – a Greek Cypriot man and woman, and a Bulgarian woman – were due in court later on Thursday for a remand hearing for allegedly running an online gambling facility.
The raid was part of a coordinated operation in Larnaca and Livadhia to clampdown on illegal online gambling.
In another premises in Larnaca, a betting shop owner was charged in writing for not having the necessary licence.
