A delegation of the New South Wales – Cyprus Friendship Group at the parliament of New South Wales, Australia, will be paying a visit to Cyprus from July 19 to 25, during which the members will be received by President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades, Archbishop Chrysostomos II and President of the House of Representatives Yiannakis Omirou.
The delegation will be headed by Co-Chairwoman of the Group Amanda Fazio, who will participate in the events to condemn the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
Also in the delegation are Co-Chairman David Clarke and MPs Marie Ficarra and Shaoquett Moselmane.
The delegation will also meet with Chairman of the Group at the House of Representatives Averof Neophytou and members of the Group, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andreas Mavroyiannis, Vice-Mayor of Nicosia Eleni Loucaidou, and members of the Nicosia and Famagusta Municipal Councils.
