A grisly double shooting shocked Larnaca yesterday after the bodies of a 72-year-old man and his Sri Lankan maid were found in a flat.
The grim discovery was made after people living nearby complained about a bad smell and burning coming from the apartment and the fire service were called in to investigate.
Once inside the flat, firemen discovered the bodies of pensioner Phillipos Christodoulou and his Sri Lankan maid who had only started working for a few days previously.
