Cyprus suit case killer jailed

A man has been jailed for 22 years for the manslaughter of his room-mate, whose body he concealed in a suitcase.
The 29-year-old Bangladeshi man is said to have killed the man in January this year because he would not get up to take his place at the Nicosia hotel reception where they worked.
The victim’s body was found in the case in the boot of a car three days later.
He had originally said that he had found the man dead in bed and had hidden him because he was afraid. He later admitted his guilt to police.
