Paparizou! Paparizou! Paparizou! We have been inundated with phone calls, emails, Facebook and Twitter messages about the superstar; we’ve even been contacted by a fan in Spain who is making the journey to the UK to see Elena live at Parikiaki’s Cyprus Wine Festival & Business Exhibition at Alexandra Palace!

We promised big things for the event’s 30th anniversary and we aim to deliver! She’s the winner of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, has countless music accolades under her belt, is listed as the most successful debuting female artist of the 2000s, establishing herself as one of the top acts of the latter half of the decade, and has more than 144 million views on YouTube, more than any other artist in the Greek music industry! And with thanks to Show Productions, this weekend you get to see the renowned singer perform for the first ever in the UK, at the biggest annual event in our community’s calendar!

Elena will be appearing at 8.30pm on Saturday and at 6.45pm on Sunday, performing her biggest hits including My Number One, Mambo, Iparhei Logos, The Game Of Love, Mi Fevgeis, E Kardia Sou Petra, Pyrotehnimata, Baby It’s Over, Mr. Perfect, Anapandites KliseisTreli KardiaProtereotita, Katse KalaStin Kardia Mou Mono ThlipsiGigoloAn Ihes Erthi Pio Noris, An Isouna Agapi, Mesa Sou and Party All the Time, as well as songs from her newly released album Ti Ora Tha Vgoume? – don’t miss the show of the year!!!

To commemorate our milestone year, we have lots more in store for the thousands of visitors who will descend onto Ally Pally throughout the two-day extravaganza to drink, dance and experience all things Cypriot!

They include performances by hip-hop artist Geko, Cypriot dance group Argonaftes, Cypriot folk music group Las, as well as Greek dancing groups and talented performers from our community.

DJ Chris Theocharous of HRS Entertainment will be playing the very best in Greek and English music, with the show hosted by our very own George Michaelides together with Georgos Roussos, presenter on Cyprus’ No1 hit music station Super FM and of Mega TV’s Mousiko Kouti!

And there’s more…A spectacular wedding catwalk show, organised by north London bridal store The Boutique, will take place on both days (Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at 3.45pm), showcasing the latest wedding trends, from the hottest designers including Hollywood Dreams, Sottero & Midley, Mori Lee, Madeline Gardner and Ilana L Designs, and much more including bridesmaid dresses, evening wear, pageboy suits and prom dresses.
