Olympiakos Nicosia were relegated to the second division on the weekend despite a 4-2 victory over Alki.
The other Group C game between Ethnikos Achnas and Nea Salamina finished 2-2 – a result which ensured Ethnikos topped the group and Nea Salamina will head into a playoff against Anagennises Derynia for a place in the first division next season.
In other games, Ivan Jovanovic’s final game in charge of APOEL ended in defeat as the newly crowned champions went down 2-1 to Anorthosis at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium.
In the big game on Saturday, Omonia ensured they will be in the Europa League next season after beating AEK 3-1 to stay third. They will join Anorthosis with Cup finalists Apollon or AEL set to join them in the summer.
APOEL will start in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
