Bristol Entrepreneur launches website marketing classes for small business
A Bristol entrepreneur aims to give small business owners the tools to create and control their own marketing in one day.
Danny Maddocks believes that a great website is essential for every business to market themselves online, and he was recently given an award by Dragon’s Den business expert Theo Paphitis for his online marketing success.
Now Danny aims to give Bristol business owners the benefit of his expertise in a one day event called ‘do it LIVE!’. He guarantees he will take someone with no web experience, help them create a personalised website and give them the tools to use it to market their business, by following techniques that have been tried and tested by Danny and his clients.
Danny told Guide2Bristol, “Having launched four businesses over the last ten years I understand how important a website is to success, many startup businesses also know this but find web jargon and dealing with web developers confusing or frustrating.
“I created the do it LIVE! workshops to empower business start-ups to create their own website in a single day, gain the skills and knowledge to update and expand their website and be confident they have a rock solid online foundation that will grow with them as their business grows.”
“Those who attend the do it LIVE! workshop will learn how to register a domain name and hosting account, how to install WordPress and change the design to match their business branding, how to link Facebook, Twitter and other social media tools to their website, how to create website pages, contact forms, blog posts and how to upload photos, videos and audio.
