A 19-YEAR-OLD man was mugged late on Monday in a car park in Strovolos after refusing to give up his belongings.
The man was walking in the Acropole Cinema car park when a stranger approached him and asked him in broken Greek to hand over everything he had. When he refused, the perpetrator attacked him with a knife, stabbed him three times on the left thigh and fled.
The 19-year-old was taken to the nearby Makarios Hospital where he received first aid and was treated for his injuries. He is not in any serious danger.
Police are searching for the attacker who is said to be 1.70m tall, slightly bearded wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans.
