Rauf Denktash grandson shot dead

Jian Denktash the grandson of former Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash, has died from a gunshot wound at the age of 37.
He was found slumped over the grave in occupied Nicosia of his father Raif who died in a car crash in 1985. He had a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
After a six-hour operation he died at around 1.10am on Monday.
Turkish Cypriot media reports say that the death is being treated as suicide. He had apparently called a cousin and told him to come to the grave.
